Starting with version 3.5.0 configuration and installation of MEME and
MAST software has been changed

The current version of MEME (3.5.1) is available for the following platforms:
    SunOS 5.9
    MacOS X 10.4.4 (Tiger)
    Redhat Enterprise Linux, release 4
    Cygwin (DLL 1.5.19-4)

Version 3.5.0 is available for the following platforms:
    Solaris 5.9
    Redhat Enterprise Linux
This version hasn't been fully tested on other platforms, and your feedback is greatly 
appreciated.

for installation instructions.

If you'd like to wait until all the kinks to be worked out before trying 
the current release, please use the previous version 3.0.14. Installation 
instructions for this version can be found in README file which is included 
in meme-3.0.14.tar.gz. See http://meme.nbcr.net/downloads/old_versions/
The MEME version 3.0.14 has been tested on the following platforms:
    Cygwin (Windows)      (for Windows PCs)
    OS X      
    Linux 2.2             (Redhat and others)
