Tomtom Program

TomTom is a tool for comparing motif DNA with a database of known motifs.

TomTom measures the quantitative similarity between two motives and evaluates its statistical significance. TomTom displays a logo representing the alignment of two motives, p-value and q-value [measure of false detection], as well as links to the motive database for more information on the target motive.

Usage: tomtom [options] <query motifs> <target motif database>+
